Brian Anderson Speaks at Dalton State College

Dalton State College's Business Networking Club hosted Brian Anderson of the Dalton Whitfield Chamber of Commerce   September 14. Anderson stated that Dalton and Whitfield County is currently home to 6,000 unemployed. Another topic Anderson covered was the much needed economic development and diversification in our area. One of the options of industry Anderson promoted was the chemical industry. During the Q&A session, Anderson answered questions ranging from the economic down turn to the importance of the Archway Partnership coming to the Dalton-Whitfield community. It was revealed by Anderson that the Archway Partnership town meeting report is due out to the public in October.
