Ribbon Cutting of Dalton's CVB & DDDA
For many years the 95 year old depot off of Morris Street in Dalton stood completely vacant. Now, after much planning and construction, the depot has been renovated and is expected to be a major tourist attraction for railroad and civil war buffs. The depot is also the new home of the Dalton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Downtown Development Authority.
Dave attended the October 15th grand opening and ribbon cutting.
"It was great to see such a large crowd at the ribbon cutting. Mayor Pennington made a great speech on the abilities and capabilities of Dalton and it's residents," said Dave Helton.
