E-Cards

Each year, companies spend millions of dollars creating, printing and mailing promotional materials such as postcards and fliers.  These standard tools of the trade can be an important strategy – they’ve worked for many years – and with the right design and execution, will continue to work for countless organizations.

But times change…

If your company is looking for fresh new ways to reach your target market, it’s time to consider e-cards or electronic mailings.  E-cards enable an organization to summarize key messages in an engaging electronic format.  E-cards can have music, sound, design, color – their scope is limited only by imagination and your needs.

The benefits of e-cards include:
-    The exact message you want, sent to exactly whom you want to get it.
-    Cost savings in terms of printing and distribution.
-    A more “green” approach to marketing by using or alternating e-cards with traditional printed mailings.
-    More creative approaches to marketing through the use of sound, animation and graphics.

While there are many benefits to e-cards, it is important to strategize and plan what, how, when and to whom you want to target.  The most important part of the project will be development of the distribution list. This may take time to grow – but it is worth the effort. Start with   . . .

gather cards at trade shows;
proactively reach out to those companies you really want to target. 

Remember to include an opt-out message so that those that do not want information can let you know.  Make sure to continuously cull your list so that bounce-backs, and those opting out can be promptly removed.
